1. Using Petsie
Petsie is a peer-to-peer marketplace based in Aotearoa New Zealand. You're responsible for the accuracy of your listings and the safety of transactions you take part in.
2. Animal welfare
All animal listings must comply with the Animal Welfare Act 1999. In particular:
- No animal under 8 weeks old may be sold or rehomed.
- No unweaned or sick animals.
- Sellers must be honest about health, temperament, and history.
- Certain species and hybrids may not be sold.
3. Payments & shipping
Buyers should meet sellers in person and only pay a deposit once confident. Petsie is not a party to transactions.
4. Reports & moderation
We prioritise animal welfare reports. Repeated violations result in account termination.
